During the month of March, our Mission in Action team will lead us in a new campaign to help eradicate malaria and other mosquito-born diseases in Africa. We are partnering with the organization “The Against Malaria Foundation” to provide mosquito nets to protect children and families as they sleep.

Sunday, March 21, will be “Nothing But Net” Sunday and we will raise funds through a special afternoon of basketball-related games. March Madness comes to CCC. Be a part of it and help save the lives of hundreds of children.

July 12 – 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm – VBS for Preschool through 4th Grade and VBX for 5th through 8th Grade

July 22 – 24 Community Outreach Project (COPs) for 5th through 8th Grade – Local Mission Trip to Serve our Community!

Spring Kidz Choir

Kidz Choir for Preschool thru 6th Grade every Sunday in March @ 9:00 am in the Navy Room.

We’ll be singing on Palm Sunday, March 28, at the 10:15 Service.

“Hermie and the High Seas” is playing in the Navy Room @ 6:30 pm. Hermie teaches us Jesus’ words from the mountainside about relying on God to care for our every need. It’s about having faith in God.

On Sunday afternoon, 2/28, the youth of Christ Community Church are challenging any adults who dare to a game of flag football. You can join us for the game or just come and watch the fireworks. There will be a BBQ lunch available as well. If you would like to contribute a donation for lunch, that would be appreciated, but more than anything we just want you to come=) Hope to see everyone there! Photo Scavenger Hunt

On the last Tuesday of every month, join our high school students for an evening of fun, games and community!

On Tuesday, 2/23, we will be having our Annual Photo Scavenger Hunt. This is a great game in which our adult staff members act as chauffeurs for our students as they get a camera and a list of challenges. The team that gets the most pictures off the list wins and will be immortalized in CCC Youth Lore forever!!!

The game starts at 6:00 pm. Don’t be late or we won’t be there! Pick up around 9:00 pm.

Nerd B.A.R.F.

On Wednesday, 2/24, at 6:30 pm, our monthly Junior High BARF (Bring A Real Friend) Theme will be Nerd. Join us for a night of obscure sci fi references, pocket protectors and LOtR! Rewards will be given to all of our students who are willing to show off their inner Nerd. Don’t forget to BARF!!! Email Drew with any questions.

Heart, Hands & Hash Browns

Saturday, 2/27, is our Heart, Hands & Hash Browns. For this event, for High School students only, we will be using our Hands to serve the community around us. Then we will be spending time in our Hearts in communion with God. This will look like an extended time (an hour or so) of solitude, prayer and silence. The Hash Browns are just for fun! This will be a variety of things we do to relax and play together.

This month, we are serving at the World Vision Warehouse in the city of Commerce. After that we will find a quiet space to be alone with God in prayer and study. Finally, we will head down to John’s Incredible Pizza for some fun and fellowship =)

Meet at church at 8:00 am and we will return at 7:00 pm. $10 for lunch and John’s.
