Sundays for 5th – 8th Grade Youth @ CCC
Sundays, we offer these opportunities for 5th thru 8th grade youth:
- Dive In (5th & 6th grade) happens every Sunday.
- Wide Awake! (7th & 8th grade) happens every Sunday.
As of 3/11/12, both these groups now meet every Sunday in the Barracks at 10am.
Wednesdays for Pre-teen Youth @ CCC
Club B.A.S.I.C 6:00 – 8:00pm for 5th and 6th Grade meets in the Barracks. This is an experience just for Preteens using the Bible, internet and group discussion to grapple with issues they deal with every day!
More about Club B.A.S.I.C.: (Becoming A Soldier In Christ) is a church experience just for 5th & 6th grade preteens. We use an awesome internet-based program called Grapple which includes a safe & secure website personalized for our kids. We use thought-provoking lessons that tackle the tough questions that preteens are asking about faith, relationships and the choices they have to make. We engage their participation through attention-grabbing lessons, fun games & activities and deep life-changing Bible lessons. Kids are inspired to connect with each other on their very own safe and secure online community at MyGrapple.com. Each week we explore several key Bible verses that relate to the topic being studied that acts to give them a foundation for what the Bible says about these issues. Kids are encouraged to practice their faith with weekly challenges that dare preteens to apply what they’ve learned in simple yet effective ways.
Join us on Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in The Barracks (building on the back grass area of campus).
