About Music at CCC

Music in an essential part of how Christ Community Church engages in worship. On SundayMorning, you’ll find the platform full of musicians singing, playing guitars, drums, keyboards and brass together during the Celebration Service at 10:15 am. At our 8:00 am Simple Service, we use the great traditional hymns of the faith to express our worship to God, accompanied by solo piano and a vocalist.

Throughout the year, we celebrate special events with special music, including string quartets, a seasonal choir, guest vocalists and touring musical ensembles.  Each new week brings new expressions of music, all unified by our desire to love God, and celebrate His work in the world.

If you attend church at CCC and play an instrument or sing, and if you would like to be involved in the music ministry, please contact our church office to be directed appropriately.  The Sunday morning worship team is open to skilled musicians based on auditions, and the seasonal choir is open to anyone with a heart to sing!

Seasonal Choir

Choir is open to all who have a heart to sing and a commitment to be apart of all (most) rehearsals.  Our choir performs seasonally during both the Easter season and Advent/Christmas season.

Technical Team

The Technical Team is an essential part of the worship ministry at CCC.  This team helps set up and run sound for the Sunday morning services, runs video projection during the worship and sermon and helps maintain the sermon podcast series on the website.  A dedicated group of volunteers works behind the scenes to make everything work each week, as their act of worship and service.  The Technical Team is open to adults with an aptitude for technical systems, who are willing to serve.  Specific training isn’t required, but a willingness to learn is.
