What We Do
The vision of Wycliffe Bible Translators is that God’s word is accessible to all people in a language that speaks to their heart. The mission is to see a Bible translation program in progress in every language still needing one by the year 2025.
Bill serves with Wycliffe’s field organization SIL International in Africa Area as a Support Services Coordinator. His role is to provide a link between Wycliffe administrations in Africa and service partners like JAARS and Wycliffe Associates. He coordinates Africa Area technical and logistics needs to service partners. That would include facilitating the implementation of support services and communicating perspectives back to these partners.
Nairobi, Kenya is the headquarters for SIL Africa Area staff. He will travel in Africa to survey needs and work to establish connections for support services.
Dorie serves in a Personnel Administrator role helping in a variety of ways. This includes:
-Help furloughing members
-Listen to and pray with members
-Facilitating the meeting of members’ practical needs in times of personal difficulty or illness. |
