Audrene Schmidt
Audrene has been a part of the CCC family since 1968 when she, her husband, and 2 children began attending here. During all those years, Audrene volunteered in various areas of ministry, including the Children’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry.
For the past 6 years now, she has taken on the role of Care Ministry Coordinator. As well as calling, helping and visiting the sick or discouraged, she meets with a group of women who make afghans to give to shut-ins. Also, baby afghans are made to welcome new little ones into our church family.
Most recently, she organized a monthly fellowship called Sociable Seniors for those in the Senior years of their life. Each month something very special and different is planned.
Audrene is now a widow, her 2 children are adults, and she has 1 grandson.
She has a passion for family, friends, and traveling, having visited all 50 states and many, many foreign countries. Her goals are to visit more interesting places and learn from those experiences.
